The PharmaCare Non-Woven, Non Sterile Swabs are highly absorbent, non-woven 4 ply swabs that are soft and gentle on your skin. They are ideal for coping with all light to moderate exudate, and there are 100 swabs per packet.

Uses:

The PharmaCare Non-Woven, Non Sterile Swabs can have a variety of different uses, but they are commonly used in the treatment and cleaning of open wounds. They can be used as an alternative to cotton wool and are essential for first aid and emergency rooms. The Non Sterile Swabs can be used for absorption, protection, disinfection or padding of a wound, while ensuring that the risk of fibres affecting or irritating the wound site is at a minimum.

Application:

• Remove the PharmaCare Non-Woven, Non Sterile Swabs from the packaging
• The swabs can be placed on a wound to clean and wipe the area
• These swabs can be used as a second dressing, if necessary - they can be put on the inside of a plaster or dressing to absorb any leakage or can be used as a compression to stop bleeding
