Is McCabes PLUS Loyalty offers and points available with online orders?

No but we are working on this and will advise you when McCabes PLUS loyalty is available online. We are currently testing the NEW McCabes PLUS loyalty programme  in select stores only:

McCabes Castletroy, McCabes Cresent SC, McCabes Jetland,  McCabes Parkway SC, McCabes Roxboro, McCabes Charlottes Quay, McCabes Grove Island, McCabes Thomondgate, McCabes Sky court SC Shannon.

Delivery

When will my order be processed?

We process orders Monday to Friday (normal business days):

  • Orders received before 2pm Monday to Friday are usually processed and dispatched the same working day.
  • Orders received after 2pm Monday to Friday are usually processed and dispatched the next working day.
  • Orders received after 2pm Friday up to 2pm Monday are usually processed and dispatched on Monday.

A business day is Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email from us with a tracking number. Normally all products on our website are held in stock, but on the rare occasion that an item is out of stock, we will contact you with the expected dispatch time.

NB: Order processing may take longer during bad weather events, strikes and protests, and during busy periods such as Christmas, Black Friday/Cyber Monday and at Sale times.

 

When will I receive my order?

Delivery within the Republic of Ireland is usually 1–2 working days after dispatch. We deliver from Monday to Saturday (excluding Bank Holidays). Saturday deliveries are with An Post only, and to major towns and cities.

All delivery days are estimates, based on our current delivery success rates:

  • DHL have a 96% next day delivery success rate with us.
  • An Post have a +90% next day delivery success rate with us


NB: Deliveries may take longer during bad weather events, strikes and protests, and during busy periods such as Christmas, Black Friday/Cyber Monday and at Sale times.

 

How much does delivery cost?

All orders are subject to the following delivery charges within the Republic of Ireland:

  • An Post free delivery per order over €58
  • An Post €6.50 per order under €58
  • DHL €7.50 per order.

 

Who will deliver my order?

All orders will be delivered by An Post or DHL, depending on who you choose.

 

Can I track my delivery?

Yes, you can track your order online at An Post or DHL.

 

Do you deliver internationally?

Currently, we only ship to the Republic of Ireland.

 

I want to order items of a sensitive nature, can you ship them discreetly?

Yes, absolutely. All our orders are shipped in discreet packaging (items are packaged in plain padded envelopes or plain boxes), although our shipping labels may show our company name and address. If you have any special requests regarding discretion, please let us know as we are more than happy to help.

 

How will I know that my order is ready to be delivered?

You will receive a text message via An Post or DHL to let you know when your order is out for delivery, as long as you have provided your mobile phone number.

You can also track your delivery online at An Post or DHL.

 

What happens if I am not available when you try to deliver my order?

If you are not at home to accept the delivery you can contact the courier directly, either to re-arrange delivery or to collect your order yourself.

 

What should I do if I haven't received my order, or I have a problem?

Does McCabes Pharmacy offer ‘Click and Collect’ service?

Yes, simply order online for Free ‘Click and Collect’ delivery to your chosen McCabes Pharmacy Store.

 

What McCabes Pharmacy stores offer 'Click and Collect'?

'Click and Collect' is currently available in all 110 McCabes Pharmacy Stores. You can find them here

 

How do I get my order delivered to a store?

When you are placing your order, select “Click and Collect” during checkout. Select your preferred store from our store finder by either choosing: “Use my location” or add a town, city or your own address, and click search to find the stores closest to you.

Once we receive your order we will process it as soon as possible. It will be dispatched from our warehouse, and sent to the store you have chosen using our An Post delivery service.

Delivery to any available McCabes Pharmacy Store is FREE for all orders.

 

How will I know when my order is ready for collection?

When your order is ready for collection you will receive and SMS and an email from us.

Then just bring an email printout of your order with you or show it to us on your phone, and you can collect your order when you are ready.

 

What if I want to return my click and collect order?

If you decide that your purchase is not suitable, please contact our Customer Service team via our Contact form and they will give you instructions to return it to our warehouse (our usual Returns Policy will apply).

We do not currently accept returns or issue refunds for click and collect orders in our stores. It is also our policy to refund the original form of payment, so we will refund the same payment method that was used when placing the order on our website.

 

What if I have received the wrong product, or a damaged product?

If you receive the wrong or a damaged product, please contact our Customer Service team via our Contact form, and they will will resolve it as quick as possible.

Returns

What is McCabes returns policy ?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase and you wish to return an item, please let us know within 14 days from the date of receipt of your order, that you wish to cancel the contract for this purchase by contacting our Customer Service team in our Contact section.

Any returned goods must be in a re-saleable condition, unused / unworn, sealed, in its original packaging and have original labels attached. For health protection and hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer refunds, replacements or exchanges on certain medical, personal care items and baby formula products, or any product with a hygiene seal that has been broken (unless you are returning them because they are damaged or faulty).

 

How do I return or exchange unwanted items ?

Please inform us of your intent to return the unwanted product or item so we can solve this matter quickly and efficiently. The following information is required when you contact us:

(i) Your order reference number

(ii) Your telephone and contact details.

You can reach us by contacting our Customer Service team in our Contact section.

The cost of returning unwanted items is at your expense, and as we do not offer a collection service you should use your own carrier. We recommend that you use a carrier who can give you a “Proof of Posting”, as until the parcel is received by us at the above address, it will remain your responsibility.

 

Can I return an item to a McCabes Pharmacy store ?

Unfortunately we do not currently accept returns or issue refunds in our stores for any Website/Online orders.

*It is our policy to refund the original form of payment, so our stores will not refund you. We will refund to the credit card which was used as payment through our website using the secure online payment system - please allow a few working days for this to be completed.

 

My item was a gift, so I don’t have the order number - what should I do ?

If you received an online product as a gift and you'd like to return or exchange it, please let us know in advance by contacting our Customer Service team in our Contact section, with any questions. We will do our best to help solve the issue quickly and efficiently.

 

How do I return a faulty item / order ?

If you think that a product you have purchased on www.mccabespharmacy.com is faulty, please contact us straight away before returning the item. You can contact our Customer Service team in our Contact section, with any questions.

 

When will I receive my refund ?

Once you cancel your order within 14 days following the date of receipt of delivery, and we receive your returned item within 14 days of your notification of cancellation we are happy to provide a refund provided the products are unopened, unused and in the original packaging. Please allow up to 10 working days for refunds to show up on your account, from the date we receive your return. We will refund you by the same method the original payment was received (eg a Credit Card payment will be refunded back onto the same card).
