How to Use:
- Before first use, disinfect the probe thoroughly.
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the device. A short beep will sound.
- The thermometer will run a self-check. When “Lo” and a flashing °C or °F symbol appear, the thermometer is ready to use.
- Place the probe in the chosen area (mouth, anus, or armpit) and wait.
- The display will show the temperature as it is measured. Once a stable reading is reached (temperature change < 0.1°C in 4 seconds), four beeps will sound and the °C/°F symbol will stop flashing.
- The highest recorded temperature will remain on the screen until the device is switched off.
Note:
If the temperature is below 32°C (89.6°F), “Lo” will be displayed.
If above 42.9°C (109.2°F), “Hi” will appear.
Always clean the probe after each use.
