How to Use:

For Ear Temperature:

• Before first use, install the batteries according to the indicated polarity.
• Remove the probe cover before measuring ear temperature.
• Press the Power button to switch on the thermometer. The ear symbol will appear on the display.
• Select adult or child mode using the Mode button.
• Gently insert the temperature probe into the ear canal.
• Press and release the Measure button. The temperature will appear on the screen.
• For children under 1 year, gently pull the ear straight back before measuring.
• For children aged 1 year and over and adults, gently pull the ear up and back before measuring.

For Forehead Temperature:

• Place the cover onto the thermometer probe.
• Press the Power button to switch on the thermometer.
• Press the Mode button to select Forehead mode and choose adult or child mode as required.
• Position the thermometer approximately 1–3 cm from the centre of the forehead.
• Press and release the Measure button for 1 second.
• The temperature reading will appear on the display.
• The thermometer will automatically switch off after approximately 10 seconds of inactivity.
