What is shingles?
Shingles is a viral disease that causes a painful rash that appears as red blotches on your skin, on one side of your body only.
How much does it cost?
The cost of the Shingles Vaccination is €243 per dose.
Why would you need the shingles vaccination?
As shingles is caused by the chickenpox virus and the virus remains inactive in your system, anyone who has had chickenpox could be at risk of developing shingles. However, it occurs more frequently in people over the age of 50.
