What is McCabes PLUS?
McCabes PLUS is our new loyalty programme, giving members access to exclusive benefits and member pricing through the McCabes Pharmacy app.
When does McCabes PLUS launch?
McCabes PLUS launches nationwide on 7 September 2026.
Is McCabes PLUS available in every McCabes Pharmacy?
Yes. McCabes PLUS is available in all 111 McCabes Pharmacy stores nationwide.
Is McCabes PLUS free to join?
Yes. Joining McCabes PLUS is completely free.
The McCabes Pharmacy App
Do I need to download a new app?
It depends on which app you're currently using.
- If you use the McCabes Pharmacy app, you'll need to download the new McCabes Pharmacy app from 7 September.
- If you use the McCabes Pharmacy Limerick app, your app will automatically update and become the new McCabes Pharmacy app.
Can I download the new app before 7 September?
No. The new McCabes Pharmacy app will only be available from 7 September.
What happens to my current McCabes Pharmacy app?
From 7 September, the current McCabes Pharmacy app will no longer be supported.
When you open it, you'll see a message directing you to download the new McCabes Pharmacy app.
I already use the McCabes Pharmacy Limerick app. What do I need to do?
Nothing.
Your app will automatically update and become the new McCabes Pharmacy app.
Can I use both apps?
No. Once the new McCabes Pharmacy app is available, the previous McCabes Pharmacy app will no longer be supported.
Your Account
Do I need to create a new account?
Most customers will simply sign in using their existing details. We'll provide further guidance before launch if any additional action is required.
Why am I being asked to verify my mobile number?
We're asking customers to verify their mobile number before launch to help make moving to McCabes PLUS as smooth as possible.
What happens if I don't verify my mobile number?
You'll still be able to join McCabes PLUS, but verifying your details before launch will help make accessing your account easier.
I've forgotten my password. What should I do?
Select Forgot Password on the sign-in screen and follow the instructions to reset your password.
Shopping Online
Can I use McCabes PLUS online?
Yes. Member pricing will be available online once you're signed in to your McCabes PLUS account.
Can I earn or redeem points online?
No. At launch, points cannot be earned or redeemed online.
Will member pricing be available online?
Yes. Eligible members will receive McCabes PLUS member pricing online when they're signed in.
Can I use McCabes PLUS with Click & Collect?
Yes. Member pricing applies to eligible Click & Collect orders.
Please note that points cannot be earned or redeemed online at launch.
Can I use vouchers or coupons online?
No. Coupons and vouchers will not be available online at launch.
MyHealth
Can I access MyHealth online?
No. MyHealth is only available through the McCabes Pharmacy app.
DigiScript
What happens to DigiScript?
Nothing is changing. You can continue using DigiScript as normal.
I use DigiScript through the app. What do I need to do?
If you currently access DigiScript through the McCabes Pharmacy app, you'll need to download the new McCabes Pharmacy app from 7 September.
In Store
Can I use McCabes PLUS in store?
Yes. McCabes PLUS is available in all McCabes Pharmacy stores nationwide.
Can store colleagues help me download the app?
Yes. Our pharmacy teams will be happy to help you download the app and answer any questions.
Launch Day
What do I need to do on 7 September?
It depends on how you currently use McCabes Pharmacy.
- If you use the current McCabes Pharmacy app, download the new McCabes Pharmacy app from your app store.
- If you use the McCabes Pharmacy Limerick app, simply update your existing app when prompted.
- If you're new to McCabes Pharmacy, download the app, create an account or sign in, and start enjoying McCabes PLUS.
I can't find the app in the App Store.
The new McCabes Pharmacy app will be available from 7 September. If you're searching before this date, it won't appear.
