How does the Mole Check Service work?

1. Book your appointment

Book your Mole Check appointment at one of our participating McCabes Pharmacies.

Appointments take approximately 10 minutes.

2. Visit your pharmacy

During your appointment, a trained member of our pharmacy team will take specialist images of the mole or skin lesion using a medical-grade dermatoscope.

You may also be asked a few questions about the mole and your skin.

3. Consultant Dermatologist review

Your images and information are securely submitted through the Map My Mole service and reviewed remotely by a Consultant Dermatologist.

4. Receive your report

Your digital report will normally be available within 24–48 hours.

The report will explain the dermatologist's opinion of the mole or lesion and advise you on any recommended next steps.
