Saccharomyces boulardii is a unique microorganism which is sold widely in the US, Scandinavia, Germany & France. This friendly yeast is more robust to environmental stressors than more common bacterial live cultures, and shows strong resistance to heat, humidity and stomach acidity levels. These live cultures of S. boulardii have been tested and shown to be especially stable and resistant.
All we do is live cultures; looking at different species and strains in detail. We are partnered with some of the world's leading institutes of microbiology; so when you're stressed with too much on your mind, you can rest easy - confident that you're choosing the experts.
Please note that as of mid-October 2017 a new batch of Saccharomyces boulardiiis being dispatched. This new batch contains fewer non-active ingredients, and no longer contains added ingredients such as titanium dioxide. This means the capsule size is now smaller than before – so repeat customers should note that their packaging may appear less full.
Customers should also note that due to the lack of titanium dioxide, the capsules now appear clear whereas they originally appeared white; meaning you will now be able to see the ingredients – S. boulardii naturally has a slightly beige colour (unlike other live cultures) and the appearance may vary slightly from capsule to capsule.
Each capsule still contains 5 billion live cultures of Saccharomyces boulardii guaranteed.
NB: Since November 2013, this product has changed name to Saccharomyces boulardii within the EU.
